Hi there and welcome!

I’m Dianne, a self-taught acrylic artist based in Dover, Delaware creating nature and scripture inspired art, timeless pieces that will elevate any interior for many years to come.

I was born in the Philippines and grew up in London, moving to the United States in 2008. I worked as an insurance agent for 8 years and when I left that career to become a stay at home mom, I had no idea that I would become an artist selling my work worldwide, have my first solo exhibition, have my work sold in person at retail stores, and all of this, within the first 4 years of creating my first painting.

One thing I’ve always enjoyed is decorating my home, and over the years I’ve learned to curate intentional spaces. How we decorate our home can shape the way we feel in our homes. Our decor is personal and tells our story. It was this love for interior design that led me to pick up a paintbrush in 2020 when I decided to create something unique for my own home. But, I didn’t want a pretty piece of art just to fill a blank wall or empty shelf. I wanted to create something meaningful, a picture of what matters most to me. I realized that I wanted my paintings to be less about decoration and more about expressing my faith through art, pointing eyes (including my own) towards God, to glorify and cultivate joy in Him. We live in such a broken world, and we all have our own struggles and battles. There will be times we need encouragement, or comfort, or peace, or reassurance, and at times like this, we need to be reminded of God’s word the most. Keeping our eyes on Him is what will carry us through the day, and this is why my desire is to create art that’ll point eyes to God. Art that will be a daily reminder of His Word and His promises as we try to live faithfully to Him day by day.

At Dianne George Art, I’ve combined my love for God, interior design, and my love for nature. Through my work I invite you to discover the beauty in the outdoors, but more importantly, the beauty in the One who created it all.
