A WAY THROUGH COLLECTION

A collection to give hope and encouragement in the midst of difficult times, focusing on the way through and drawing your eyes to look beyond what you’re going through.

In 2 Corinthians, Paul writes, “For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory” (2 Corinthiansâ€Ŧ ‭4:17â€Ŧ ‭KJVâ€Ŧâ€Ŧ). Paul had been through a lot. Just to name a few, he had been put in prison, severely flogged, stoned, beaten, shipwrecked, gone without food, was in constant danger, and yet he described his affliction as light. Even the worst of our affliction, even if it were to last for a life time, by the measure of eternity is still only for a moment and what God produces in us through it, is a glory far greater than any affliction. We must fix our eyes on the things which are not seen, not on the things which are seen. “For the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal” (2 Corinthiansâ€Ŧ ‭4:18â€Ŧ ‭WEBBEâ€Ŧâ€Ŧ). We can find a way through our difficult times with eyes fixed on Jesus and a heart turned towards God.
